The VAAL Foundation operates this website with a "Privacy by Design" approach. To better understand our audience and improve the institutional experience, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Ireland Ltd. Data processing is based on your explicit consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR).

Google Analytics uses "cookies". The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We use IP anonymization ("anonymizeIp") to ensure that your IP address is truncated within the EU/EEA before being sent. 3. Member Portal & Authentication
When using the Member Portal, we process your login credentials (email, encrypted password) and session data (Auth-Token) solely for the purpose of providing access. This processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR. All session data is ephemeral and strictly monitored for security integrity.
4. Technical Service Provider
For the provision of authentication and forwarding services, we use industry-standard transport providers. Data transfers outside the EU rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses to ensure a level of protection equivalent to the GDPR.
